Men's Tennis Impresses at Hack Kellner Invitational

Conner McGowan helped UIS to a perfect weekend.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – The UIS men’s tennis team ran the table at the annual Hack Kellner Invitational held over the weekend at the Velasco Tennis Center.

The Prairie Stars won all 27 of their matches during the tournament.

In singles play, Punsisi Dayaratne won all three matches at No. 1 as did Josh Patrick at No. 2, Conner McGowan at No. 3, Matthew McGowan at No. 4, Sharma Kumar at No. 5 and Patrick Callahan at No.6.

In doubles play, Dayaratne and Josh Patrick were perfect at No. 1 while Conner and Matthew McGowan at No. 2 and Mike Czarny and Kumar at No. 3 also went unbeaten.
