NORMAL, Ill. – The UIS women’s golf team is in 15th place after the opening round of the Illinois Wesleyan Spring Fling on Saturday at the Ironwood Golf Club. The Prairie Stars have a team total of 335. DePauw leads the team standings at 316. Individually, UIS was paced by Lillian Luker who fired an 85 and is tied for 32nd place overall. Abby Vorreyer is one shot behind Luker at 86 and is tied for 38th. Tiffany Blumhorst and Kelsey Blake are tied 66th after shooting 92 while Katie Boyd is tied for 77th with a 93. The tournament concludes tomorrow with 18 holes.
