Men's Tennis Rolls in Season Finale

Conner McGowan won at No. 3 to help UIS post a victory in its season finale.

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – UIS won seven of the nine matches and rolled to a 7-2 victory over Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday at the Velasco Tennis Center.

UIS opened the dual by winning two of the three doubles matches paced by Punsisi Dayaratne and Josh Patrick at No. 1 along with Pat Callahan and Matthew McGowan at No. 2.

The dominance continued into singles play as the Prairie Stars won five of the six matches. Dayaratne (No. 1), Patrick (No. 2), Conner McGowan (No. 3), Matthew McGowan (No. 4) and Scott Mauer (No. 5) all posted victories.
